Christmas Caroling

Throughout the month of December - members from Crossway and others will be on the streets of downtown Norfolk spreading some Christmas Cheer. Please email admin@cwnorfolk.com if interested in joining us!

Hats for the Homeless

In a way that will directly help the homeless and those that unable to afford good winter hats and gloves, Crossway will be collecting new hats and gloves to give throughout the winter months. There are three ways that one can help with this outreach:

1. Purchase the hats and gloves outright
Drop them off or mail them to Crossway.
Our mailing address is PO BOX 3928, Norfolk, VA 23514.
Our office address is 259 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23510.

2. Make the hats or gloves on your own!
Below are some links for some free winter hat plans.

3. Make a donation to Crossway: Write a check to Crossway and put as a note, "Winter Outreach." With the donations we will be able to purchase the hats and gloves wholesale and get more for the money.

Drop off your gloves at our space!
We will have a collection box available either at our office space at 259 Granby Street, 2nd Floor or at the entrance area for the first floor. A perfect time to drop off the hats or gloves will be during the Grand Illumination Day events coming up on the 20th of November.

Make Your Own Hats!

Below are two free patterns for those that have a desire to help in a very personal and special way to our winter outreach program. There are plenty of other patterns available on the internet so please do not feel limited to use only these two! Our only request is to focus on hats that will keep the individual wearing it nice and warm!
